blogger invitation from Selangorlicious

invited for a Chinese Blogging Competition launch at SUNWAY GIZA yesterday nite
im so nervous because again im ALONE...
and i never been to dat area before...i mean Sunway Giza
But then
the passion of blogging drives me there....
"Selangorlicious"
which means delicious food in Selangor!^^

Briefly~
My CookBook is the 1st Modern Malaysian restaurant in Malaysia that explores local cuisine and gives it a modern touch with its own interpretation. Here, we inspire diners to rethink the relationship with popular Malaysian cuisine, which we have specially reinvented to infuse more flavourful delights as well as a touch of modern dining.

My CookBook presents 5 different dining environments within one address. 

Outdoor

The mood: 
Classically modern stirred by cooling breezes
Highlights: 
Italian slide-bar counter that can be arranged in any configuration and lit within in any colour shade; polypropylene chairs referencing 40s’ comfortable designs matched with woody tables to withstand ultra-durable usage; green potted plants in modern polypropylene garden pots for an authentic outdoor feel; timber flooring adding a woody element
Capacity: 
40 pax

Indoor
The mood:
Clean interior with all-white colour palette punctuated with raspberry pink chairs exude a sense of feminine comfort; chill out ambience
Highlights:
Twelve-feet feature wall of pots and pans to remind diners of the purpose My CookBook complemented with matching wall clock constructed with table cutleries; giant flower arrangement in matching shades of raspberry pink and soothing greens melding indoor and outdoor areas; two framed counters with shiny white background, one of which creating dramatic entrance for food.

 Scandinavian Room
The mood:
Rustic Eastern European charm
Highlights: 
Lots of wooden accents in dark walnut shades with woody element continuing in chairs and dining table; a series of bronze lamps in multitude of shapes inspired by the sculptural simplicity of brass cooking pots and water vessels traditionally found on the Eastern European subcontinent
Capacity: 
8 pax

 My Private Room
The mood: 
Multi-purpose private function room that is predominantly white and free of identifiable elements to allow unlimited creative expressions
Highlights: 
Four projectors with two sources of projection, one of which beams to the window while remaining three beam to the walls; state-of-the-art sound system with hidden JBL speakers as well as karaoke facilities; Italian slide-bar counter that can be arranged in any configuration and lit within in any colour shade; height-adjustable tables
A private karaoke session can also be held here together with drinks and food with a selection of not less than 24000 songs  
Capacity: 
50 pax seating

Contemporary French Room
The mood: 
Modern classic French at its most delicious chic
Highlights: 
Pedrali chairs in white polycarbonate accompany two Poltrona armchair at each end of Turkish Marmalade polished marble dining table; Slamp chandelier hovers above dining table adding a touch of modern baroque
Capacity: 
10 pax

那一枝枝的其实是圆筒形的冰块
里边包含着一枝香茅
造型特别吧!
可是当我喝下去时~
咦.....怎么淡淡的???
原来必须自己加糖的 
有点孤陋寡闻。。paise..

 Assam Prawn Salad
吃起来酸酸甜甜
有点轻微的辣
味道是不错,蛮开胃的
只可惜可能在冷气房的缘故
送进口时
已经冷冰冰了
我想这点应该注意注意。。。

哇靠!听起来阵容蛮大的还请来了

哈~是芋头糕啦
但不知怎么
也许放了一段时间还是什么材料的味道
闻起来有点异味
这纯是小丑个人的看法~没恶意!

这个的摆设蛮有心思的
但也许我还是比较能接受热的食物
所以。。。


店里的重头戏来啦!!!

 当晚的食物里我会推荐这道
好像鸡饭酱
但如果包着鸡肉的外皮脆一点
我相信更好吃,也达到他的crispy名吗!

 左图的辣椒酱跟我们吃鸡饭时的辣椒酱差不多,不错!再配上脆脆的黄瓜。。
还有条形的油饭
赞!^^
